Wendy J. Freitag, President
The EMDR Research Foundation was founded in 2006. To support the mission and vision the EMDR Research Foundation has established three mechanisms to fund research on EMDR: Doctoral Dissertation Grant Awards, Research Grant Awards and Research Consultation Awards.
Funding and promoting scientific research is crucial to the advancement of EMDR and its positive impact on people’s lives. By supporting EMDR research, the EMDR Research Foundation is investing in the health and well-being of people everywhere.
The Foundation supports the assumption that independent, high-quality research is at the core of effective practice and, ultimately, efficient healing. Its goal is to serve as an essential bridge between clinicians and researchers in determining the best course of treatment for the consumer.
